The Sinhala Literary Society of B/Ulhitiya Maha Vidyalaya has been formed with the hope of leading the pupils towards the world of literature so that they would be able to walk from delight to wisdom through experience of great literary works by the renowned artists. Every pupil that leaves the school must have good humane qualities as he or she is ready to enter into the common society. The objective of a school is not only to inculcate pupils with the knowledge filled in books but to make an obedient, clever, dignified citizen so that to flourish country's future. In this case the religion bears the most important responsibility. While the teaching enables the pupils to face future challenges with a sound knowledge, religion cultivates good qualities like kindness, generosity, bravery, and obedience.
